Description: Heparin Sodium is a white or off-white powder. It is odorless, tasteless, and highly hygroscopic. This product is easily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone.
Product Introduction: Heparin Sodium is a polysaccharide biochemical extracted from porcine intestinal mucosa. It is named for its common form as a sodium salt. Heparin possesses potent anticoagulant and antithrombotic properties. Its primary clinical applications are for anticoagulation and antithrombotic therapy. Furthermore, it serves as the key starting material for the production of Low Molecular Weight Heparins and related pharmaceutical products.
